Everyday Robots

narrative, brand, and design for group building helper robots for a better everyday

october 2021

Born from X, the moonshot factory, and working alongside teams at Google, Everyday Robots is building a new type of robot. One that can learn by itself, to help anyone with (almost) anything.

They are developing a general-purpose learning robot that can operate autonomously in unstructured environments.

Creative Lab partnered with the Everyday Robots team on their name, brand, and narrative. We produced a 20 minute film broken down into an intro and four parts, named the effort, and did all of their design work.

Unfortunately, Alphabet layoffs of 2023 affected the Everyday Robots team with the effort being shut down and key pieces being absorbed back into Google Research.
